Editing Your Products
After selecting “Products” from the top menu you will firstly see the top level manufacturers that your products are categorised into. Click on the + icons alongside any of the manufacturers to see the ranges within them. Again click on the + icons to see the individual products within the chosen range.To edit a manufacturer, range or product simply click on its name from the tiered menu. To the far right of each product in the menu will appear the products price, status and delete button. To hide a product from your public website change the status from a green tick to a red cross. Similarly to display a product on your public website, the green tick must be showing. To delete a product, click on the trash can to the far right of the product row.
Once you have clicked on the product name you will be taken to the product editor screen.
The top row shows the name of the product, Item SKU (unique product code) and the price in GBP.
You can edit any of the fields as normal. If you replicate a product name that already exists in the database this field will turn red indicating that you need an alternative name.
You can add a new manufacturer, range or type for your product using the tools in the top right of the editor. Please see “Adding Products using the Content Management System” paragraph 3 for more details on this.
