We have recently launched a new client website for Help 2 Buy, www.helptobuy.co.uk.

Help to buy was set up with the prime intention of sticking up for the little guy when it came to buying a property. It seemed to us that the odds were stacked up in favour of the seller when we looked at how houses were bought. The seller had a negotiator, an estate agent, to offer them advice and act on their behalf when negotiations were taking place. On the buyers side they did not have access to any such advice and had no-one to negotiate on their behalf. This meant that naturally in their eagerness to purchase a property the buyer often was paying too much for the property or settling on the asking price without trying to get a better deal.
