We offer a variety of hosting packages via Our Service Provider to suit companies wishing to host their web presence and web developers wishing to host multiple websites with us.
Setup
Once you have registered your domain name you will be asked if you require a hosting account. Please choose from one of our hosting packages (linked below) and proceed to the checkout.
For existing customers who have chosen to pay via paypal or credit/debit card, your domain will be registered within a matter of minutes and you will receive confirmation by email of your hosting package details together with access to your domain control panel.
New customers will have their account verified within the hour (typically - through office opening times) and your domain control panel and hosting package details will be emailed to you.
Information
Our Basic Hosting Package, Standard Hosting Package, Premium Hosting Package and Developers Package are on servers which run LAMP based hosting solutions by default, although can be tailored to your needs. Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP.
Load balancing solutions allow us a degree of resilience as requests for web pages and mail is farmed out to a cluster of servers. The advantages of this are threefold: a continuation of service delivery should a machine fail, ability to share the load between machines, and the opportunity to add and remove hardware without loss of service.
Out systems are split over two Manchester based enterprise grade hosting environments. Peering supplied through MCiX and MANAP, and transit through a number of providers. UPS is supplied through rack mounted solutions, and building systems involving N+1 battery protection, separate power feeds, and on site redundant generators. Security is around the clock with RFID keys and CCTV / under flood beam alarms. Fire protection is supplied through FM2000 air replacement within the hosting environment. The entire environment is air conditioned, and has a backup of high power external air bypass.
