DesignWeb awarded cycle sport website contract
We are very proud to announce that DesignWeb have been awarded the contract for the Marsh Tracks website project.
Marsh Tracks is a new and exciting venture in Rhyl, North Wales and comprises of a 1.3 km closed circuit cycling track and a national standard BMX race track with challenging jumps and bends.
The project includes revised branding, a public facing website including e-commerce facility and also a web based accounts application. We will also be assisting Marsh Tracks with social networking, search engine optimisation and ongoing support and maintenance.
The £1.3m Marsh Tracks project is funded by the Waste Recycling Environmental (WREN), The Foundation for Sports and Arts, and the Strategic Regeneration Area (SRA) board via Denbighshire County Council and was completed earlier this year.
Marsh Tracks will not only benefit cyclists from Wales and England, it is also part of an important development in the plan to regenerate the town of Rhyl. The project will provide opportunities for young people, particularly from deprived areas, to take part in sport at low cost, and there are strong links to schools, the wider community and tourism.
We wish Marsh Tracks every success with their venture and are proud to be part of such a fantastic project.

Towards the end of 2008 we contacted DesignWeb with our (rather
vague) business model. Six weeks later we were online, with a fully
functioning and extremely attractive website, which has since attracted a
volume of traffic far beyond our expectations. They are a young, dynamic and
enthusiastic outfit, never afraid to experiment, whilst maintaining,
with a mixture of conscientiousness and good humour, a very high
standard of customer service. We would recommend them wholeheartedly and
without hesitation.
